Can anyone respond to this and tell me what happened to this place. Phone number not working address at 130 w 2nd closed...what is really going on... also what happened to the Mocha Soul cafe i that was in Schuster Center a year ago

Driving around Dayton, my Mister and I passed several venues that were open and yet not quite... 'right'. Until we heard the sounds of raggae coming from Lotus. The call was unmistakeable.
Sit a moment, sistar, here with ya mistar.
We gan shake the foundations.
So if I alone, or with my girls, or being escorted by my Mister - it's will be OK.
Everything was lovely. But since we did not eat I can not rate the food.
However, logically, the bartenders were wonderful. The sounds were great. I would think that the food would be up to par as well.

Jazz at Midnight

Chris Bowman and his band played there Friday nite April 21, 2006 at their new Jazz at Midnight sponsored by Balloons-R-US.
Miss Theresa was there and her voice just filled the room. That Lady can "Sang!" And Chris' band can "Play!"
Sippin' on a Dirty Martini about 1pm while listening to that wonderful jazz in a beautiful initimate spot made me think I was back in DC or Chicago.
I'll be back for the next "Jazz at Midnight" on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. May 5 and 19, 2006.
Lotus is the Spot!! Excellent!
