Good food, nice, laidback atmosphere

I have been to the Oregon Express three times and each time found good music, very nice wait staff and a unpretentious atmosphere. No egos or rowdies, just civilized folks out for good entertainment.
The Pizza is amazing and the Nachos (a bit overpriced, $7 to $8 bucks) are delicious, in fact, better than most restaraunts. Also the salsa is impressive. The selection of beer is good.
My only complaint is that the volume of the live music is usualy too loud for the size of the room.
Oerall, it's the only "bar" that I plan to frequent.

I used to love the pizza at the OE - it's been awhile since I've been downtown. Went there a couple of days ago, and whoa - IT AIN'T THE SAME??!!?? The taste, toppings and price have all changed. The Ledbelly boys would be disappointed.

I go there every tuesday night for the Open Mic poetry and I have a blast! The food's good, the beer's cold, and the poetry is a great way for me to unwind from the day.
